  Very nice Greekfest. Good food and cultural entertainment. Usually the weekend after 4th of July.

  It is the single best parish in the Midwest area. The priest is a great man, and an amazing preacher! Greekfest is what it is known for and if you ask someone in Elgin "where is the best greekfest around here?" They would say "St.Sophia. no question!!". I love the church
